~Mean and Green~

I woke up with a burlap bag over my head, I tried to remove it, but found out my arms are bound behind my back. Someone realized I was struggling and has now kicked me really hard in the shin. I bent over in pain. "Keep still if you want to live, human." said a voice. I stopped in my tracks, oh my God, this is really happening...

SLAM! "Honey, I'm *hic* home!"

I jumped out of the seat I was sitting in and shut the suspenceful book I was engrossed in reading. "What the hell man?" I said in a stern voice walking over to him. The short clown stumbled into the room holding a few bottles in his arms. How he was able to balance them all while completely hammered is beyond me, but he did. "Ish jusht havin' a drink with Mischter Hyde... he'sh a good buddy... unlike you penschil pusher!" He pointed at me, which he later regretted on the count he dropped and smashed a few bottles, except one. I picked it up. "Hey thatsch MY bottle!" he wined as he stared up at me swaying back and forth trying to keep his footing. "I don't see your name on it." I said slyly smiling. "Well... actually thatsch not mine... it wash in Hydesh jacket, sho I nicked it, servsh him right holdin' out on me... that baschtard... he'll never be my friend."

I just rolled my eyes and began walking away, but damn it all, Spike stumbled right into me and I fell on my face, my lips pressed up against the open bottle. The stuff was really bitter, but had a sweet aftertaste, I couldn't help but have a sip... then I started to feel a really bad stomach ache. "Ugh... it's not agreeing with me.." I groaned, Spike was passed out on the floor, X's replacing both of his eyes. I ran to the bathroom expecting to hurl, I lifted the toilet seat and placed my hands on the cold porcelan bowl. My breath coming out in deep gasps, then I saw it, out the corner of my eyes... darkness. It was encircling my eyes like one of those iris out closings to a cartoon, the darkness slowly encircling my whole eyesight, I felt myself fall over. The last thing I heard was Emily's voice at the bathroom door saying "Are you okay Will?" I went to meet the void...

... Well that was a rush. I got up form the bathroom floor, and good God, my shirt felt like it was choking me, so I unloosened one button, no dice. I unloosened another button, still no use, I ripped the whole damn shirt off buttons clinking around on the tile floor. I let out a relaxed sigh, much better. I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror, but I couldn't see too well, I was wearing these stupid glasses. I took them off at the sink and looked up. Hellooooo handsome, I smiled at myself in the mirror, something was still amiss though, ah I see. I turned on the sink and put my head under the stream of water. As I did so I heard someone enter the room without opening the door "Will?" the voice was familiar but the name wasn't. I slicked back my hair and turned around. "Who the hell is Will?" I asked. If this woman wasn't as pale as a ghost already I'm sure her face would have been now, those eyes were as big as dinner plates.

Although to be serious, I wasn't that interested in this Will guy, I was more interested in this nice looking beauty in front of me. I smiled and stepped forward. As I did walk towards her, the girl turned transparent and flew through the door! Well, that was surprising. I ran to the door and opened it up into a hallway. Now it was all coming back to me, I knew this place, I knew this girl I was now chasing after... and I knew who that clown was that's laying on the floor. All of a sudden my need to catch up to the girl was replaced by a severe hatred to the offense to the eyes that was snoozing on the carpet at my feet. I picked up Spike getting angrier and angrier with each snore that passed his lips. I put my hands around his neck and slowly began to tighten my grip. As I did the clown woke up with a choke, as soon as he saw me he sobered up quick. Unfortunately for me, he took his own head off making his body drop to the floor. He re-attatched his head and then yelled "What the hell are you doing in here?! Who are you to barge in here and try to strangle me?!" his eyes turned into daggers.

I just looked down at the pathetic Clown and remembered what I had in my pocket. I took out my gun and grinned insanely. The Clown took one look and ran. Following his dust trail lead me to a dead end in the archives building, then all of a sudden I felt a book hit me in the back of my head "Um... ow?" I exclaimed. When I turned around I saw the ghost girl, Emily, yeah that's her name. She had a whole stack of books floating close to her, I'm going to say that's her ammo for now. I smiled and put the gun back in my pocket, then I put my hands in the air showing I was unarmed. She sat her stack of books down slowly, looking at me with caution. I couldn't help but be amused. "Who are you and what did you do with Will?" she said sternly, I couldn't help but smile, she looks cute when she's being serious. "I'm not sure what happened to Will, but as far as I know... I'm here." I stretched out my arms, I couldn't help but show off my bare barrel chest. She glanced down almost in a trance but then snapped out of it and looked back up at me, her face getting a little pink "Erm... well, how did you get here?". I shrugged my broad shoulders and sighed, then actually took a time to think about it. "I think I drank something... ot at least Will drank something."

By the looks of it Emily drew her own conclusions, she gasped and then said "Did you drink Dr. Jekyll's formula?!" I frowned and then said "I didn't, Will did." My eyes started to wander down to her legs, unfortunately I heard Emily scoff, she then turned invisible and threw another book at me, "What?" I asked with a laugh. "Stop that." she said, a bit of embarrassment in her voice. "Yeah, stop that you big green gorilla!" I heard Spike say before he attached himself to my head. The growing lust inside me turned back to rage and I yanked the Clown off me and started punching him in the face, he made cartoony honk noises when I did. All of a sudden one of the bookshelves fell on me.. and damn it had to be one of the heavier ones. As I struggled with getting the big bookshelf off me Emily pried Spike from my grasp. "Now look, whoever you are, we need to get Will back, so just stay right there, Spike, make sure he stays there." ordered Emily. The clown started to sweat and then said "B-but he tried to kill me!" I just let out a growl and said "Even if I did would it be that bad of a thing to do?" I swear Spike wet his pants, I laughed under my breath, getting joy out of seeing the Clown in such fear.

Emily flew to the front desk, I hate to see her go but I love watching her... damn Spike got in the way. The clown then sat down took out a cigar and lit it. Then he puffed a cloud of smoke shaped like a skull and crossbones in my face. I guess he thought I would cough, I didn't, I just inhaled and let out a satisfied sigh. All of a sudden I started to cough, the Clown giggled a bit, that is until I smashed out from under the shelf and grabbed him again. My stomach did a backflip. I cringed a bit at the intense pain in my stomach but I didn't care, I started punching that fucking cloan as hard as I could. Then I saw it, out of the corner of my eye. The void swallowed me up once again... no... this can't happen... I want to keep hitting...

...I woke up on the front desk, I bolted up and looked at my hands, they weren't green... good. I looked around, Emily was already flying over to me. "Will! You're awake! How are you feeling?" she gave me a cup of tea and I sipped it. "I feel very very very very sorry" I started to tear up, I can't help it. She gave me a friendly hug... brr... forgot how cold a ghost was. Then I saw Dr. Jekyll walk up to us, looking a bit down under the weather himself. "Good to see you back with us Will." he said smiling. I got up and shook his hand "Thanks." then I remembered something. "H-how's Spike?" I asked. Emily smiled and picked up a blanket off of a sofa, there was Spike, with X's for eyes, althouygh his face had a bunch of #'s on it showing cartoony bruising. "Do you think I'll change back into... the other guy?" I asked Jekyll. He frowned "I'm afraid I do not know, I turn into Mr. Hyde frequently, but it could be different for you." I understood him and then pressed my hand to my head. "Ugh, sorry guys, but if you don't mind, I'm going to go sleep most of this off." Emily and Jekyll nodded and then I went into my "office" and opened up a fake file cabinet that was actually a bed, then closed my eyes. I prayed too, prayed that I would have the strength to fight the evil me next time...
The plot thickens...

*leGASP* Oh the HORROR!! As soon as I saw Hyde's name I thought: OH NOES! :iconfucknoplz:

It was so clever how you wrote the transition from yourself to Sid; especially in first person, which I can imagine isn't easy to do well so kudos to you!! :iconepicclapplz:

I can agree with you there. :D Stating the obvious in storytelling is never good...unless of course, it's a kiddie story. :P
